I'm offering ongoing classes for all levels at the Quimper Grange on Wednesdays from
10:00a - 12:30p. Sessions are 4 weeks for $85 or drop-in for $25. We paint a variety
of subjects including boats, lighthouses, the Sound, flowers, mountains
and abstract paintings!

John Adams began painting as a child growing up on the gulf coast.
He studied art at an early age and enjoyed painting seascapes and
mountains which continue to provide inspiration for his work. He
graduated from Stetson University in Florida with a BA in studio art
and art history. After that he worked his way west, and settled in
the Seattle area in 1985. Since then he has become an elected
signature member of both the National and Northwest Watercolor
Societies and returned to Seattle Central College for an AAS
degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. John has worked in
graphic design along with painting and teaching weekly watercolor
classes since 2000.
As a frequent contributor to juried exhibitions, his colorful paintings
have been widely exhibited, collected and received numerous awards
since 1985. He works from his studio on the Olympic Peninsula.
