My background includes degrees in both studio art and graphic design and over
20 years experience working in a variety of art and design related positions,
including screenprinting, teaching art and design, technical illustration, print
and web graphic design, and marketing paintings through galleries and juried
exhibitions. I am an elected signature member of both the National and Northwest
Watercolor Societies.

My 22x30" watercolor "Summer Garden" received the Utrecht Award at the NWWS 72nd Annual International Open Exhibition juried by internationally renowned artist and architectural illustrator Thomas Schaller.
Mr. Schaller chose 80 paintings from 387 submitted and stated "that the artists chosen can be proud to be part of a most exceptional exhibition of remarkable artworks which span styles, genres, and a number of unique subjects"
