John Adams is a watercolorist, teacher and graphic designer. He works from a home studio along the shores of Hood Canal and his mountain cabin in the North Cascades.
Inspired by the environment of the Pacific Northwest, his award-winning paintings have been exhibited widely in the Seattle area since 1985. John currently teaches weekly watercolor classes in Port Townsend, Poulsbo and on Bainbridge Island, exhibits his work in several regional galleries and is a member of the artist cooperative
Front Street Gallery in Poulsbo, WA.
A signature member of both the National and Northwest Watercolor Societies, John holds a BA in Fine Art from Stetson University in Florida and an AAS in Graphic Design and Illustration from
Seattle Central College.
My classes always include a 1/2 hour or longer demonstration
followed by painting time and individual instruction.
